Nature-Based Mindfulness and Sleep Stories
Self-Love and Self-Compassion
Lyndi Smith is a nature lover, mindfulness teacher and storyteller.
Her main practices are loving kindness and “listening deeply” —listening to the nature outside of us, and the nature inside.
Her great love is to hike and sit in the wilderness... the breeze on her skin... the sound of the bubbling creek... bird song and dappled sunlight... the giant rainforest trees... and feel the heart rest.
She teaches mindfulness live and online, with adults and children in nature, and in schools and healthcare.
Feeling burnt out, she started practising twelve years ago. Since then, she has racked up about 8,000 hours of practice, including a year in retreat. Mindfulness helped her sleep better, focus, calm, build confidence and feel contented and alive!
On one hand, she designs and facilitates science-based mindfulness programmes for organisations and government. On the other, she loves music, poetry and philosophy, intuition and connecting to the ancient, the soulful and the mysterious.
She is extremely grateful for the beautiful land of Australia, for the first nations custodians of the country she walks on, and the elders past and present.
