Softening is the recurring theme here ... body, thoughts, judgments and opinions ... becoming someone who can walk upon the earth with gentleness and awareness. And again and again the word 'slowly' surfaces. Slow consideration, slow action often produces surprisingly good (better?) results. Thank you.

It's easy to forget how to relax your own body sometimes, with the stress at home or work or just life in general. I feel that just listening to someone's voice and taking my mind of everything helps me tackle the day a whole lot easier. Especially when I'm getting overwhelmed

To grow is to expand
To expand is to become. I have my goals, I have my understands I have plan of action, but! What can be absent is the courage to take the effort the effort that is required to make the actions needed to make the thoughts physical. Some effort is required to do what needs to be done. Change "should do it" to "I could do it if I really wanted to" and that small change in my way of thinking has turned that snowball 4" in diameter, to the colossal avalanche that I am. Disaster can be bring change if the "switch" for it is found. ;)

I learned that my ability to release tension in my body is connected to a relaxed brain. I’ve never done a meditation that requires me to think of my brain hemispheres. But I appreciated it and feel less burdened.

Distractions abound
Even simple everyday noises can distract from my meditation time with Aura...the heater kicking on on this cold morning, my wife's gentle snoring as she enjoys another day of winter vacation from work, and hopefully kicks whatever illness she has picked up from the children in her classroom...most people probably do not realize that teachers typically spend these school vacations ill...it being a time of lessened stress, with no school in session to rush off to each morning...their bodies tend to go ahead and succumb to the illnesses they fight off during the normal course of the school year by necessity. If you weren't aware of this, now you know!

This exercise can help lead to freedom and becoming who I am meant to be. Towards the end when I was focused on the top of the head and the space between the two hemispheres of the brain I suddenly had a vision of a large bird in my left field of vision....The bird began to fly and flew across my field of vision, up and away out of the top of my head. Very enlightening!

I actually sat up for this meditation (as suggested) and it was so delightful, I wished it would had been longer! Feeling my feet from the inside had me connected immediately. Working my way up thru my body (& chakras) got me relaxed & centered. Then this whole head, brain, mind expanding thing was... like wow! (And it was over way too quick for me.) So I sat there in my two separate minds wondering, wandering and becoming...

I love meditations that have body scans because I feel the sensation and it's amazing. Yes in the beginning of every meditation I get distracted by the sounds around me, but as it goes on I feel it drowning out.

Nice grounding
Starting at my feet and moving up somehow felt completely different from starting at my head and moving down. This was was more energizing than simply relaxing, but didn’t create a tense form of energy. I’m not sure that I understand why this happened, but I liked it!😀

I haven’t meditated in a while. I felt really good to sit and listen. My mind wondered a little because it’s been awhile since it shut off while I was awake. I’m trying to become the me I want to be and feeling positive about that.

Can’t Believe I made it through
Friday was my daughters graduation, and being a typical 18-year-old just moved out of her parents/my home a couple months ago and she’s upset with me with the long story I can’t get into now . She did not want her father and father to attend the ceremony, that pretty much devastated me. I need to let her have some time actually a lot of time to get over her stubbornness. And it’s so hard to get her to talk to me. Friday I thought about it here n there but I did not soak in it. I went about my day keeping myself busy. and I promised myself that this too will pass. And it was a success and really surprised how well I handled it, being as close to her as I was saying no tears. I just figured that I would take this time to work on myself for the better and future. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do or how to get over it?? Because just saying her name would make me cry & get all choked up..

Difficulty Connecting
I found this meditation much more difficult than others, since it wasn’t as much focused on breathing. I did, however, figure out that I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders, so that’s something at least.

I focused on the sensations and they traveled through my body to my head and when the instructor asked me to focus on the space between the two hemispheres in my brain I did experience a very light feeling. This is a perfect meditation to start the day I feel so relaxed right now but still ready to go start my day! Thanks Lauren🙏🌞

Thought that this might be a good session for me this morning
But it didn't do much for me. 😪 Found out today that my therapist is leaving me behind. She's leaving the practice for another opportunity. It's been a good year having her ear to bend. She promises that the therapist I'll be seeing is great too...guess I'll find out in a few weeks. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I learned that this mediation is easier said then done. This was a great mediation for me to do. It was very beneficial, I tend to hold a lot of tension in my body without relaxing it and today was harder for me to get relaxed then usual. Reminding myself to relax and let go of tension is so important.. I feel so much better and alert and refreshed. I forgot to take time to relax and let the stress and worries that our bodies hold to release them and just let go. Great mediation to end the day 😌

I tried this meditation several months ago and it didn’t work then. At the time, I simply thought it was because I was tired. It didn’t work for me again today. This is part of the process; discovering which meditations resonate with us and which ones aren’t the right fit. I have no doubt this will resonate for many others. That’s the beauty of differences in our community. I can’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t experience. I can only share my experience and support you in your experience. 🙏♥️🙏
