Keeping an Open Mind
Like life when you're used to meditating or anything you are more inclined to follow your ways. This meditation teaches you to keep an open mind at all times during it and go with curiosity as that's how We learn and grow by keeping our minds opened. A very important lesson to keep with whilst meditating.

Something old, something new...
I'm so vulnerable to new things, as well as old things with new meanings. I sometimes ponder whether or not to comment sometimes because I begin to feel guilty of how good this is for me and I think of others who may not be receiving it as well as I am. It's as if these exercises where tailored to my stress and anxiety. They pose both the question and answers to my thoughts. Man!!! I love this. Namaste 🙏🏾

Me comuniqué con el universo y busque entender el ahora. Abracé mi tristeza por la partida de Laura pero tengo la esperanza de poder ganar una oportunidad de poder mostrarle el resultado de estos tiempos de meditación. Four dogs
I need to turn off the volume on my phone otherwise the alerts from texts scare me mid meditation, and I have no control over when every dog in the neighborhood wants to start up a howling fest but I do know I can tune it out now. I learned that I carry a lot of stress in my face, the inside of my mouth particularly. I bet that means something. But it was interesting to notice that every so often I had to come back to relaxing that part of me. And despite the interruptions and distractions, the busy day, and unending tasks I got into this and I am glad I did.

I learned that it’s important to leave all your preconceived ideas behind if you want to get the most benefit from any experience. I think curiosity is something I need to work on.

It’s okay if today’s a little rough and your thoughts are very loud. The main focus is to be open to experiencing all the ups and downs to meditation. So if today was all about being calm and in the space, or if it was focusing on the thought that was kind of loud it’s okay.

Rather than ignore the racing thoughts in my head, I welcomed the thoughts for a short time. I was able to have the thoughts and then let them go with breaths. Before I knew it, I could feel my body pulsating; the blood pumping through my arms, hands, legs, and toes. Let it flow.

One of the hardest things for me in my day to day life is to accept things for how they are (emotions, pain, bodily sensations). This meditation helped to allow my mind to be aware of what was going on with myself and to accept them kindly.

Within my body I live in fear, pain, and anxiety. There is no escaping these three inevitable things for me daily. Some things though do bring me joy or happiness; for example, my best friends. They make my darkest days and most painful a whole lot better. It makes everything I go though much more bearable.

I am able to focus on the worse sensations and feelings I'm experiencing within my body and look at these from a different perspective. Not a perspective that allows these sensations to define me but to view them with curiosity and learn how to embrace them as see them as temporary feelings.

Refreshing refresher
Coming back to the basics has always been a useful tool for me. Patience is a quality I am always working on. I find myself always looking to learn something new, to help me grow. It is in the basics where i always seem to get the most out of. The things we take for granted. Perfect timing, as I have been sick for the last 4 days. What a great way to come back to mindfulness but with a simple reminder that I can always come to the foundation in which I started my journey and still feel like Ive progressed! Thank you for this priceless reminder! Have a great day everyone!

Letting go is so vital. Recently, I’ve been more at peace and it’s really starting to show. My face is clearing up, my attitude is sharpening up, and I just feel at peace. Even though the pain is slightly there still, I’m so proud of my progress. I thank God for this moment.

Just getting out of a 30yr relationship, the painful realizations learned as we exited, have unveiled all sorts of new learnings on what I thought I knew like the back of my hand. We know nothing. We can learn everything.

Usually not talked about. This is a good one. Truly makes me feel lighter. Best if one already has some experience in breathing and some meditation. I know from experience now that breathing comes before any type of meditation. A little gem this one is.

Practicing Being Open
During my meditation I realized just how I’m caught in between this idea of I think I know it all and I actually don’t know anything. Which creates both a smugness and a low sense of confidence that are battling inside of me and disrupting my inner peace. I can’t allow such things to run my life. Instead it is curiosity I should allow to roam and take lead.

The importance of mediation
A few months ago when the Corona Virus started I was very, very worried and scared that I would catch it or the people I care about might get it. I made the decision to start meditating and it was the best decision I have made. Here are three things that changed after I started meditating daily; one; my mood has improved and I’m more positive. Two; it helps with any sadness or stress I have felt. Three; it is very relaxing and peaceful. I highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of starting or for people who has any stress or anything negative thought that they want to get rid of
