I’ve learned that whenever I feel angry, I need to ask myself why I feel angered. If I am angered by what someone said why do I feel that way? I then consciously shift my mindset to one of love for me and then share that love with the person who “I allowed” to cause me to feel that way.

This was a interesting session telling my body how to feel. I wish it would have lasted longer. I was just starting to relax when it ended. It did make me feel relaxed & calm but I will need to try another meditation 🧘‍♂️ session to completely unwind and sleep 🌙

Before this meditation, I had tried another meditation to relax the tension and pain in my neck - with no success - maybe due to a sitting posture and a tightening of the muscles. This relaxing meditation was successful with helping to relieve the tension in my neck & shoulder. This time I laying flat on my back, legs straight out, arms resting by my side and my spine level. It relieved 98% of my neck pain & tension. I will give it one more try to release the other 2% I have left. Thank you.

I suffer from chronic pain, and after more than a dozen surgeries I live every day at a minimum of 6 out of 10 pain. Ever since I have started meditating, working with crystals, and really working on mindfulness of my body and connection to the universe around me, I find it easier to focus my energy and attention away from the pain when needed. Also, there are times I need to meditate and let my body feel exactly how it feels, so I can better understand how my body and mind can holistically respond to my intentions and relax, pulling my attention to simply breathing helps me to stay calm and work through the pain much more easily.

As soon as I relaxed my body slowly, I felt where I was tense and realized, “oh, I was really wound up.” And once I gave myself permission to relax and said there was time to relax, I instantly let go of whatever remaining tension there was in my mind and my body and I could’ve cried I was so relieved to be rid of that weight, even if it wasn’t for long.

No sleep all night, and anxiety in the morning with some episodes. They are becoming less and less but I notice it always towards the end of the month more. Did my Aura time earlier, and I felt a change almost immediately. Like I know what to do for myself now when I feel this way. It’s nice to know I can open my phone and have emotional relief in three minutes. But my goal ultimately is to be able to soothe myself... myself.

I found that telling myself that I was taking a few moments to rest actually did make me feel a bit rejuvenated. What a cool trick that by just taking a few minutes of time to deliberately stop your brain and give it a rest, you really do feel refreshed and can keep moving forward.

These past few weeks have been tough on my mind, as my father has been in the hospital and at the same time I am preparing to graduate from master’s school, and am attempting to start a new relationship. The strain can pile up and become overwhelming when being pulled every which way by life. But for once in the past few days I managed to take just 3 minutes to center myself on my breath with this exercise and to allow the constant weight of the stress to alleviate, just for a moment, to allow myself a small, restful breathing exercise and to turn my gaze inward. It was a good reminder of what the breath can do to calm a racing, weary mind and rejuvenate a soul.

Being in middle school and not getting much rest is terrible But my parents don't believe it. I got a physical recently and had to answer a depression questionnaire. I said I rarely sleep and my responded to me by saying," That's not true, I find you sleeping all the time." I pretend to sleep so that they don't worry so much. It's not good though, and this meditation helped relieve stress from finals coming up and the end of the school year. I hope I can learn to sleep with comfort soon enough.

On being in the moment despite numerous pressures
I’m so busy and legitimately overwhelmed today. I have MUCH to do and accomplish, despite a toothache, being exhausted from a lack of sleep and a very stressful week. I am so glad I took these three minutes. When she started saying, “you have time to rest,” at first I thought, “but I don’t.” Then she said, “you have time to rest RIGHT NOW,” and I realized she was right. That this moment, as all moments, is sacred. I am grateful to have been brought to this present moment. I feel refreshed and good, and know that as real as our responsibilities,goals, and pressures are,in another light, they are not real at all, for we are only in this moment, actually, it’s all we have truly, and what a blessing that we do. (and what a beautiful voice, right?).

I realised that Internally, my black dogs were out and that I have a forcefully remain at work black dog that forces me to stay at work when I am meant to take a break. This black dog wrecks havoc on my stress levels and needs more work. My daughter and I stopped by the bank yesterday to get a cashiers check for a property manager we had business with later in the afternoon. We waited in line until the teller called us up to the counter. It had been awhile since I’d requested a cashiers check and the teller was very patient with my obtuse questions. “What is the name of the person you want me to make this out to?” the attractive woman kindly asked. I told her the manager’s full name and then handed over my phone with an email containing the correct spelling. I have always been somewhat anxious and I believe that anxiety stems from my personality. I’m stubborn, I’m self conscious, I’m needy, I’m affectionate... I need love. I am so madly in love with the girl of dreams and that brings a whole host of emotions, and for the most part those emotions are of love and happiness. The other emotions that come with it are ones of fear of losing her, anxiety, jealousy, and in order to better combat and manage those I’ve heard meditation is good for that. In my first session I felt relaxed and definitely feel that my stress has somewhat calmed and I’m looking forward to my journey into meditation.

I feel that meditation is a great way to help one release all thoughts and stress and utilize the energy within to help calm down and relax enough to be able to sleep again. Breathing is the most important thing a person can do to help them in many ways, especially in meditation. (Calm and Rest by Lauren Ziegler helped me calm down to a state of rest. She has a soothing voice and her breathing exercises are helpful).

The past weeks I have been walking around with this tension in my body, because I am pretty sure I have done something to push a person that I am kind of in love with out of my life. And now I just hang onto him hoping that things will fix themselves, but this creates the tension. That is when these breathing exercises comes in handy because I am more aware on how to control these tensions and help myself relax when I need to.
