Caring for your spine is important for integrating balance into your nervous system. As we age our bodies can become less fluid. It's important to look after the spine each day and allow gentle movements to pump fluid into the disks. This can encourage freedom of movement and less pain or stagnation of energy. Too much sitting causes the spine and the muscles supporting the back to become tense. I invite you to move your spine every day to allow the energy to flow which supports the nervous system, health, and vibrancy. Thank you for your ongoing practice.

Some things never change
When I became to pregnant to ride my bike, I started walking. When walking became boring, I started prenatal yoga. Yoga carried me through to the end. Ultimately this helped me cope with pain during labor and delivery. I learned to breathe, stay in the moment, and use my strong muscles.

Healthy back, healthy body and mind!
The spine is the fruit of a youthful quality of life. When my spine is flexible and loose, I feel galvanized. Capable of movement and balance and freedom.

Small and Simple
Sometimes when we feel we are consumed at such deep levels of negativity, the last thing on our mind or priority list is exercise. In fact most of us at this point feel like weโ€™ve been run over by a bus!! This is a PERFECT TIME to RELAX!! What better way to relax than to start using the meditation and breathing exercises weโ€™ve learned?!?! Only 3 minutes of time, small and simple effort can change your outlook on life and the way you feel to! ITโ€™S WORTH IT RIGHT?!!!

Minding the spine
I never really give it much thought but, the spine is crucial to the way I feel. Literally, connecting me mentally and physically, itโ€™s the core to my performance and deserves more attention. Iโ€™m definitely going to be more mindful of this moving forward.

Yoga?
I guess I am just confused as to how doing this type of yoga if you would call it that can help my sadness or as to the problems with my spine and back. It is just confusing to me.

Unclear
I wasnโ€™t a huge fan of this meditation. I much prefer to do my meditation lying down and I wasnโ€™t prepared to do yoga.
