What is Alive in You ?
I'm really appreciating having the space and time to do the four postures practice this afternoon. It's so nourishing to be present whilst sitting, standing, walking and lying down. I find that I can be curious and interested as I explore what is alive in me in various postures and open to presence. I hope you have the time and space to experience this longer guided mindfulness meditation. Best wishes Lisa

Being Present๐Ÿ™๐ŸปFour Postures Practice๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ
I always learn so much from Lisa Pollard! The Four Postures Practice track is about addition-addition of energy, strength and beauty to body, mind and soul. Yoga is the process of eliminating pain โ€“ pain form the body, mind and the society. If you are looking for a way to find inner peace, stillness and quiet in your life, then this track, as well as the others in Lisaโ€™s collection, may provide you with the calm you are seeking. If you feel anxiety or depression, you are not in the present. You are either anxiously projecting the future or depressed and stuck in the past. The only thing you have any control over is the present moment. Weโ€™ve learned simple breathing exercises can make us calm and present instantly. Itโ€™s helpful to read community posts about lessons learned from Auraโ€™s meditation tracks. We can each grow in our meditation practice. Please remember this is a community dedicated to the art of meditation. The forum is to share ideas related to meditation & mindfulness and shouldnโ€™t be used as a personal blog to spam others.

I did this one outdoors on a beautiful summer evening, and watched the sky turn slowly dark and the
Stars appear one by one. So beautiful and relaxing - what a way to appreciate nature and just absorb and surround oneself with it.

Curious and Mindful
We can practice mindfulness while standing, walking, sitting and laying down. Having this intimate relationship with our heart, body and mind and taking note of what it is to be known with curiosity, we find that not only does our overall awareness increase in our everyday life, but that every moment brings along with it something new. Going through these four postures with curiosity while having an intimate relationship with my body, heart and mind, I am being my own best friend by sensing, allowing and accepting what it is to be known. Ever since I have picked up the concept of mindfulness, I have realized that life is truly exciting, as there is always something new going on within my body as well as in my surroundings. Being curious and mindful, I have a sense of gratitude and appreciation for every moment. Meditation is a practice of acceptance of what is, not a changing of what is nor a changing of who we are. Realizing this, we can bring curiosity to every moment as well as learn to become our own best friend. In doing so, we become better people all around. Namaste ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธโ˜ฎ๏ธ
