Little MoMo
the day we adopted him he was in a little playpen in the shelter’s office
“We think he’s around five and from the looks of him 100% Pug.”
My daughter was supposed to be the primary care giver but it did not take long before my early riser nature transferred much of the daily routines to me.
I got used to the clicking sound of his little nails on the floor,
of his labored breathing, of the excited look in his big brown bulging eyes when I prepared his breakfast
of the warm soft feeling of his belly as he napped on my lap
who would have thought such a deep bond could be forged in such a short time
I miss him very very much
