Impermanence
Thoughts and feelings are impermanent if you let them be. Anxiety must be allowed, and felt, to pass. If I fight the feeling, it will intensify before it passes. Let it be.

Let them be
We should learn to stop trying to avoid problems and thoughts. Instead, we should try to understand them, analyse them, FEEL them while they are as pure as a river. They can’t hurt us unless we are afraid of them and we constrict ourselves to behave in a different way just because of them. We should let them pass. Build a mind status that allow us to face them intelligently.

Thoughts are like cars passing by....
Thoughts are like cars passing by. When you are hung up on a thought you sit in the passenger seat. When you are mindful it is NOT that you stop the traffic - mindfulness is more like sitting relaxed under a tree by the road, letting the cars pass while you calmly observe.

Impermanence
Do not fight or resist the thought, but acknowledge it, its importance and then tell it to leave; to float on like a passing cloud. What we resists persist. How I respond to the thought is completely up to me.

Let it go
I have a choice to allow thoughts and feelings to take up space in my mind and body. Holding on to the positive will help letting the negative go.

Everything is temporsry
Things that you spend so much time stressing about often end up over-thought and over-complicated. Learning to be at peace with thoughts that come up will help me not to overreact, and realise that negative thoughts don’t have to take over. I am in control of what I choose to think about.

Thoughts
Thinking should be allowed but some thoughts should just pass like clouds and it’s ok to let them go.

Memories
I grasped that in order to move forward I must let my memories pass. Through time I feel as though I will succeed

Racing thoughts... racing clouds.
Profoundly beneficial to have racing thoughts compared to racing clouds; that this is, in fact, the fundamental nature of the mind. I would never have discovered this basic truth on my own!

Concious
You can make a conscious decision to let your thoughts pass. When you really focus on your breathing, all other thoughts slip away.

The constant thoughts are a normal part of the mind.
I acknowledge the thoughts vs trying to resist them and letting them pass

First and amazing
This was my very first meditation, which is quite surprising due to the amount of stress in my life. This will be my first and absolutely helpful place to stay calm and come up with conclusions to answers that can only be found in silence. I will be using this app for as long as a possibly can and hopefully I will get better at coping with stress! 🙂

I learned ...
I don't always acknowledge my thoughts. I like to push them to the side or throw them out, but this mindfulness opened my eyes to the idea that we should think about our thoughts and reflect.

Stress
I learned that pushing away your thoughts has a lot to do with stress. If you just noticed them when they come you will be able to let them pass much quicker! :))

Stress
Pushing away thoughts will make nothing go away. Neither will constantly thinking about them. Acknowledging the thoughts and letting them pass is best

Reflection
I learned that I hold a lot of stress and burden by constantly suppressing reoccurring thoughts and memories as I’m sure most people do. In taking the time to relax and recognize these things in a calm comfortable state of mind I am able to allow myself to accept that things are the way they are regardless of how I thought they would or should be.

Don’t worry
I wrote an exam that was extremely difficult today and I came home and felt absolutely beaten and finished but instead of letting those negative feelings fester and ruin my spirit I decided to just let them go , there is no use in worrying about something you cannot change and rather focus on moving forward and finding solutions.

Nature of the mind
I loved this meditation. I accept these thoughts that meander through my mind but can let them go on their journey without the need to analyse. While I listen as an impartial bystander letting them wash over me and concentrating on the relevance of my being.

Different methods
What I realized tonight is that I’m not really using this app to meditate so much as I’m listening to the different lessons to hear what’s being said and reflect on how that affects my own life or thoughts. More introspective, still mindful, just not quite the same as meditating.

Clouds
Thinking of dark thoughts as passing clouds and focussing on my mind as a usually blue sky is very powerful.

You decide
You are the one who decides if you will hold on to it or let it pass. The only one capable of making that choice.

Impermanence
I learned that..my thoughts didn’t wander around when I needed them to, but hey wander when I don’t need them to. Maybe there wasn’t anything exciting or frustrating enough for me to think about some more.

Peaceful Sunday 11-26-17
Happy Birthday to my Uncle who passed away 6mos ago. Today, is his actual BIRTH day. Anyways, we are all, wherever we are ARE remembering him in our own ways. I am still feeling sick but staying positive. This whole meditation is about letting go of small stuff. Let is pass by. Focus on what really needs to be focused on. Hope EVERYONE had a beautiful weekend and continue to have a rest nice day.

Split mind
I learned that my thoughts are normal. The thought of getting rid of the memories of the woman I was with, and the thought of how can this be fixed and we start again. It's confusing.

What you are
What or whom you are is on you. The way you treat yourself is how others will treat you. If you cannot find love beside yourself. There will be no love for you and someone else. If you think you’re less what you are others would treat you the same way.

Day 4 January 4th
Today’s session completely resonated with me. After forgetting, putting it off, and just being busy with life today, I’m glad I took this time before I fell asleep to meditate for just a few minutes. The message I learned was the most fulfilling of the 4 I have done thus far. Go me, for not blowing it off completely at making time for my 3 minutes of me time. Good night ✍🏼

Impermanence (Relapse)
I learned that our minds hold on to thoughts they like and push away those they don't. It is said that all are impermanent but what if they aren't. What if they surround you everyday constantly breaking you down more and more. I need an escape, a vacation from this mindset and I need to learn how to let these memories, these thoughts, these feelings turn into the clouds of impermanence.

thoughts

Power of the mind
When I picture my thoughts as clouds in the sky, when my eyes are closed, the sky is always blue behind the clouds and when the clouds pass by my world becomes brighter, like when you’re actually out in the sun and you close your eyes. Our minds are wonderfully powerful.

Go with the flow
I learned that things are generally going to happen through life weather we like them or not and at any given speed. It's how we choose to deal with them that determines how we move forward.

Thoughts - impermanent
Thoughts both good and bad are impermanent. I grasp at some and push others away that I want to avoid. Today is mostly the latter. They pass like clouds. Notice their existence and let them pass.

A bit short
I’ve noticed that I need for speech to guide me through, when there are gaps the silence is filled by my negative thoughts. I like the meditations that keep reminding you to focus

Clouds. They are beautiful puffs of air, gorgeous each created to perfection. Unfortunately, there tends to be stormy clouds. But, after every rainfall and storm there is always a field of flowers to be grown.

Impermanence
Just like the title of this meditation, it becomes easy to believe that many of our thoughts and stresses are permanent. It takes conscious decision-making to realize that stresses and troubles are not permanent, and as unsatisfying and sad as they may feel, we must remember to rise above and not be afraid to let go of things we cannot change in order to prepare for things to come.

Perseverance and Rabbit Holes
I found this meditation very validating. It was all about what I do. I perseveration on the “not so positive”, wishing it wasn’t there, that things had been different. Then I go down the rabbit hole exploring how wish things had gone instead. Knowing that I should “just return to breath” and ACTUALLY returning to breath are two different things. Sometimes, you need an outside-person to say aloud “Return to the breath”.

Impermanence
I’d never thought about the impermanence of our thoughts... Although I know it’s gonna be difficult to remember that all the time, I’m going to try for sure :)

Coming and going
Just like feelings and emotions, my thoughts come and go in waves. One moment I find myself thinking about what I have on my to do list. The next, I’m drifting off to a memory or musing (worrying?) about the future. Though it’s natural and everyone does this, I do find that it robs me of awareness a bit too often. Even when I was little my parents were told I was a daydreamer, so I know this is something that has always been an issue for me. My goal with all these mindfulness sessions is to cultivate a greater sense of awareness within this time and this space, right here and right now. I’d like to become more of an observer of my thoughts and learn ways I can detach myself from worry or fear or doubt associated with them.

Thoughts are like clouds
Notice their impermanence; yet, it’s the thoughts - the thought that I won’t meet this deadline, the thought that I won’t be good enough, etc that leads to a majority of the stress, anxiety, and frustration in my life. Impermanent passing clouds whose form and figure are ever changing have this much power over me? I don’t think so

Impermenance
This meditation really helped me get rid of the negativity in my mind that lingers throughout the day. I know those thoughts will always arise but now we can breathe and let them pass. Allowing more room for the positive thoughts to be permanent.

Thoughts come and go
This practice was helpful in that it reminded me that thoughts come and go. That I don’t have to react to my thoughts-just observe them and let them go. Our thoughts are like clouds. I need to remember that I don’t have to act just because a thought comes up.

Passing clouds in the sky
I learned that I have a choice as to whether I want to hold on to a thought, no matter how big or small. They are just like “passing clouds in the sky.” Each day, as I practice mindfulness, I notice that it has gotten a little easier...not that I’m good at it, but I’m a work in progress.
J
Jourdan
I learned that I can choose to change the thought. But that that is very hard and takes practice.
Changing the thought is not easy. And watching them like clouds pass in the sky will take so much practice because it feels like it’s all day.

Listen Again. Good One.
I have to listen to this one again because my mind kept wandering. LOL. I know I am the master of my thoughts but I'm still mastering it one day at a time, one second at a time, with ease and grace, hopefully. This is a good reminder to just observe what's going on in my mind. My mind is my servant, I am the master of my mental state.
