Settling into the present moment, softening the body and slowing the breath is a skill that deserves practice. I invite you to notice the subtle shift after completing this settling of breath.

Energy
As I was settling into the meditation and was noticing my heartbeat, breathing, arms and legs and how they were feeling, I suddenly did notice the energy within my body. I could feel it everywhere throughout my body and I could feel energy surrounding and encompassing me in its warm embrace. It was moving and flowing gently and seemed to be everything and everywhere. This was an experience I shall not readily forget. It’s really not surprising since everything is nothing but energy but it certainly got my attention nonetheless.

Never really settled
I gave it my best try, but I didn’t feel very comfortable heading into this session. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I completely forgot to do an Aura session this morning, so this was my one time with the app today.

I’ve noticed that my state of mind has to match the type of meditation I choose. Tonight was a perfect match, 5 stars and a blue heart to show my gratitude! I was so ready for this, it was so comforting to be aware of how my body felt as I sat on my bed, how the soft fabric of my clothes felt touching my skin. I sank into the bed and let Dea guide me through the breathing and thought process. My mind started to wonder for a moment a couple times. I was drawn back quickly bc I wanted to be present for this one. Thanks Dea 🙏

Breathtaking...
Literally, I kept losing my breath on this one. It was interesting though. Not in a scary “I can not” breathe kind of way, but more of “I do not have to” breathe... it was like the extended pauses were veeeeerrryy extended. Not sure what to make of it!?!

Breathe
I noticed that I had a hard time breathing deeply - my breathe was shallow

Observing my thoughts
Observing my thoughts is a weird concept that I didn’t get for a long time. During this last session I envisioned myself while outside my body sitting alone on my couch. Every thought I had became a thought bubble above my head. It really helped me keep the focus of my meditation.

Meditated (:
I learned that I can start my mornings super calmly and I’ll probably fall back asleep because I was so relaxed.

PAUSING BREATH DURING MEDITATION IS HELPFUL. ITS A CHANGE I AM GOING TO ADD TO MY MEDITATION. ITS AS IF I SHIFT INTO ALIGNMENT WITH EVERY PAUSE.

Breath
First small medication in a few months. Helped but need to discipline myself to meditating everyday. Good start for me though.

Settling into presence
I noticed how relaxed I get when focusing on breathing. It feels weird to ignore outside stimuli in order to focus just on breath, but I realize there is nothing I can do about some of the things I focus on otherwise. Focusing on my breath helps distract me from those things.
