I need to be present for myself
I learned that I can always come back to my breath and be present for myself no matter what’s going on around me. If I don’t, no one else will. It’s self-care.

Lessons
I’ve known life has seasons. It’s hard not to respond to sadness and trauma w/o emotions. It almost seems phony to be stable when a crisis happens. Using that quote in crisis could replace emotions.

I'm Present Today!
It takes effort to be present consistently. I am usually "here" but often fail to truly be "present".

Unconditional Presence
I can gently let go of my wandering thoughts and bring thought back to the present. I’ll try that when I get sidetracked at work, to bring thought back to what I really want to focus on. Namaste

Day 2
Everyday we find ourselves thinking about what we should’ve done three days ago or even 5 years ago...we think about all the mistakes that we made and regret them. We realize how we often make stupid decisions but we forget that what happened can’t be changed...so we must learn to accept it. We must force ourselves to realize that although we made a stupid decision——>we can change into the person we want to be-the person who makes the right decision. We find ourselves worrying about what our lives are going to be like a year from now or even 4 years from now. We pass through time and wonder and expect what our lives will be like in the future. We think that this is good because we are “planning for the future.” But we shouldn’t get caught up in the blur of it. It could really stress us out Just be aware of where you are now. Focus on the present. Then things will go the way it should

A constant available to us all
We can always return to our breathing, no matter what is going on around us. We carry this with us at all times.

Unconditional mindfulness
When you’re in the present moment, you are free from the worries of the past. Being patient with your mind is so essential. Sometimes it’s hard not to let go of what has happened in the past. Allowing your mind to focus on what is currently going on is very vital for a peaceful future.

It’s all about the present...
Learning to be in the present is invaluable. People spend far too much time thinking about what has been for them. I call it the “rear view mirror syndrome”. So busy looking at the past they don’t know where they are or where they want to go.

Mindful reflection only really occurs when you allow it to. If your not feeling 100% the meditation may make you more relaxed but not happy.

Its always a good reminder that being mindful and present is as simple as being aware of your breath, and acknowledging and accepting the things going on around you.

I learned that I continue to have invasive thoughts while meditating, but I am more patient with myself about having those thoughts. Rather than fight the thoughts, I simply focus on my breathing and the thoughts slip by.

it’s as simple as allowing yourself to be in the present moment fully immersed in the now. worrying is like a rocking chair, it’s doing something but not getting you anywhere. surrender

Feelings

Fully present
I’ve been guilty of worrying about things that happened in the past, and stressing about things that could happen in the future. I’ve realized that in doing this, I’ve been wasting my time NOW. In the last couple of weeks, I’ve really started to take the few moments for just me each day, and I’ve changed my old thinking pattern. I have chosen to live and be fully present in each moment...it’s not only incredibly freeing, but it’s also the greatest gift we can give to those who surround us 💕

Unconditional Presence
To breathe is to be in the present moment...such a helpful reminder. So often, my mind is whirling with past or future thoughts and yet my breath is my anchor to the present. Hopefully, I will remember this lesson as I continue to learn meditation and mindfulness.🙏🏻

Presence
Staying ever present during meditation is often difficult. But I try to bring myself back to focus on breathing. Inbreath cool, outbreath warm. Cool, warm, cool, warm. I say this to myself and it seems to push other thoughts aside. 🙏💙

living in the moment
I realized that you can’t stress about what will happen in the future because you won’t be paying attention to what’s happening in the moment. And when the future comes you’ll think back to what you were stressing about at the moment then and realize that you didn’t know what was happening in the moment of it because you were busy worrying about your future. You might not have even realized the ones who made an obvious effort to be in your life, and that’s upsetting. So I’ve learned that I’m living in the moment, and I need to continue in the moment. I need to make every moment as happy and amazing as I can so I can look back on it one day and be proud of who I was and who I had became.
